We are pleased to invite you to the Workshop on AI in Higher Education and Research, hosted by the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence at AGH University of Krakow, on 29-30 October 2025.
This workshop is the first in a series of four events organized in collaboration with our international partners from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary within the project V4AI: Improving AI Use in Higher Education and Research Across the Visegrad Region. The initiative responds to the rapid rise of AI in academia by promoting its effective and responsible use, sharing experiences and best practices, and helping students and staff build the skills they need for the future.
The focus topic of this inaugural workshop is: PhD Study in the Age of AI
Over two days, the workshop will bring together experts, educators, PhD students, and academic staff from all consortium partners:
Day 1: Keynotes by invited experts from business, as well as headline talks by leading researchers from partner universities.
Day 2: Focus topic day, featuring presentations by Ph.D. students, an expert panel on the impact of AI in higher education and research, and additional sessions showcasing broader perspectives on AI in academia.
Discover how AI is transforming academia, and take the opportunity to ask your questions.
The academic community is warmly invited to participate on-site in Krakow or online. We will provide details soon!
