Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (CEAI) on AGH University of Krakow was established on March 1, 2023. It is a new research unit whose mission is to undertake activities contributing to the development of AI technology using modern IT tools. The Center's scientific staff consists of researchers with experience in implementing projects related to artificial intelligence. It consists of scientists, programmers and analysts, cooperating with graduates and PhD students carrying out research, analytical and programming tasks.
Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence operates in the following areas:
- scientific and research in the area of learning and developing modern artificial intelligence technologies,
- implementation in the field of service provision and design and commercialization of tools using advanced machine learning techniques,
- analytical in the field of data analysis, including the detection of anomalies and the recognition of patterns typical of the problem,
- training and education in the field of artificial intelligence, both for individual clients, IT industry employees and representatives of public administration related to modern technologies, including state bodies,
- expert in providing opinions on AI technological and system solutions,
- cooperative in the field of development of domestic and foreign cooperation for the understanding and development of artificial intelligence,
- popularizing knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence through participation in conferences and journalistic activities.
